Contract Awarded for the 2008 Curb Ramp Construction Program

On May 19, 2008, the El Cerrito City Council adopted a Resolution approving plans, accepting bids, and authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $709,400 with Vanguard, Inc. and to approve change orders in an amount not to exceed $142,000 for the construction of the 2008 Curb Ramp Construction Program, Contract No. 08-3027-5, on the condition that adequate funding is available from sale of bonds (anticipated on May 21, 2008).
