On Thursday July 31, 2008 at about 2:47 am Officer Matsui arrested Rodger Eric Nielsen, a 22 year old male resident of Kensington, after Nielsen was found in possession of an altered replica handgun during an unrelated investigation. Nielsen was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday July 30, 2008 at about 8:15 pm Officer Cooper arrested Kory Christopher. Robbins, a 31 year old male resident of Concord, after Robbins was found in possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools during a pedestrian stop. Robbins was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday July 30, 2008 at about 3:26 am Officer Chalk arrested Charles Edward Byias, a 50 year old male resident of Richmond, and James Cleamon Lincoln, a 50 year old male resident of Richmond, after they were found to be feloniously in possession of a loaded firearm and crack cocaine during a traffic stop. Byias and Lincoln were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday July 29, 2008 at about 7:39 pm Officer Purdy arrested Johnny Eugene Spieker, a 44 year old male resident of Richmond, after Spieker was found in possession of an illegal weapon during a pedestrian stop. On Tuesday July 29, 2008 at about 5:37 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a robbery that just occurred in the 11100 block of San Pablo Ave. Officers quickly located and arrested Kiven Olandis Burks, a 21 year old male resident of Richmond, for the robbery. Burks was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Monday July 28, 2008 at about 6:26 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1500 block of Liberty Street. After an investigation Sandra Lynn Albers, a 44 year old female resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for assault. Albers was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday July 22, 2008 at about 8:58 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Safeway, at 10636 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Quewanishi Demonesse Felder, a 31 year old female resident of Richmond was arrested for theft. Felder was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Sunday July 20, 2008 at about 11:30 am a driver struck and injured a bicyclist on Fairmount Ave near the BART path, then left the scene. Officers located and arrested the person responsible for the hit and run collision, John Serna, a 79 year old male resident of Richmond. Serna was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday July 18, 2008 at about 6:50 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of an attempted strong arm robbery and carjack that just occurred in the 3300 block of Yosemite Ave. Officers soon located and arrested the suspects, two 14 year old male residents of Oakland. The juveniles were transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday July 17, 2008 at about 9:22 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft that had just occurred in the 6000 block of El Dorado Street. Officers soon located and arrested the person responsible for the theft, Noah Jay Sprague, a 39 year old male resident of San Pablo. Sprague was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday July 16, 2008 at about 12:00 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of subjects prowling in the 5800 block of Avila Ave. Officers arrived and found a residence had just been burglarized in the 5800 block of El Dorado Street. Officers soon located and arrested the persons responsible for the burglary, Jamar Laquan Smith, an 18 year old male resident of Berekely, and a 17 year old male resident of Oakland. Smith was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and the juvenile was transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday July 16, 2008 at about 12:50 am Officer Cooper arrested Douglas Penn, a 46 year old male resident of Richmond, after Penn was found in possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop. Penn was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday July 15, 2008 at about 2:12 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary that just occurred in the 7300 block of Mound Court. Officers soon located and arrested the person responsible, a 15 year old male resident of San Pablo, and recovered property stolen from the house. The juvenile was released to his guardian pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Monday July 14, 2008 at about 12:27 am Officer Brosas arrested Perry Thomas, a 40 year old male resident of El Cerrito, after Thomas was found in possession of a controlled substance during a suspicious vehicle investigation. On Sunday July 13, 2008 at about 11:43 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a water leak in the 5600 block of Poinsett Ave. After an investigation Thomas Gregory Crump, a 35 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested after it was determined that Crump had damaged a pressurized water main in Poinsett Park while attempting to steal copper piping. Crump was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

Thomas was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday July 9, 2008 at about 11:54 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of an attempted residential burglary in the 5900 block of Barrett Ave. During the subsequent investigation Officer Alvarez located and arrested Charles Lee Wright, a 19 year old male resident of Richmond, Joseph Lewis Mauricio, a 20 year old male resident of Richmond, Christopher Matthew Rougeau, a 24 year old male resident of Richmond, and Robert William Rougeau, an 18 year old male resident of Richmond, after it was determined that the group had just burglarized a residence in the 2600 block of Tulare Ave, had made attempts to burglarize other homes in the area and were in possession of stolen property. Wright, Mauricio, Christopher Rougeau and Robert Rougeau were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Monday July 7, 2008 at about 1:54 am Officer Del Prado arrested Juan Alvarez, a 30 year old male resident of Oakland, Augustin Chavez, a 26 year old male resident of Oakland, and Rosa Castaneda, a 22 year old female resident of Oakland, after they were found in possession of a stolen vehicle. Alvarez, Chavez and Castaneda were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Sunday July 6, 2008 at about 6:10 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of trespassing in the 5200 block of School Ave. After an investigation Kiev Smith, a 24 year old male resident of El Cerrito, and two 16 year old male residents of El Cerrito were found to have burglarized a residence. Smith was released and the two juveniles were turned over to the custody of their guardians pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

Snuggs was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and Ferguson was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday July 3, 2008 at about 10:01 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a theft at Atlas Liquors, at 11382 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation David Arthur Bebee, a 59 year old male resident of San Francisco, was arrested for theft. Bebee was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

Taglies was released and the juvenile was sent to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

Allen and Bellamy were released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday April 17, 2008 at about 6:08 pm two juvenile males confronted a citizen on the BART path at Portola Drive and stole his property. Detective Leone investigated the crime and identified the suspects, both juvenile males. Detective Leone then obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspects.

On Wednesday July 9, 2008 Fairfield Police Officers located one of the suspects, a fourteen year old male resident of Richmond. The juvenile was arrested and transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.
