187 PC (Murder)
07-7708 On Thursday, April 26, 2007 at about 2129 hours El Cerrito Police Officers were dispatched to the Red Onion restaurant regarding a shooting. The restaurant is located at 11900 San Pablo Avenue. The officers arrived and determined that 4 black males had entered the restaurant to conduct a robbery. During the robbery, one employee sustained a cut to his head. A second employee was shot in the upper body. The suspects fled the scene and are still at large. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The shooting victim, a 40 year old male succumbed to his injuries, dying during surgery. The second victim was treated and released.

07-7595 211 PC (Armed Handgun) 6000 block of Avila St. 4-24-07 2230 hours. Three Asian females are robbed at gunpoint for their purses by three suspects. The suspect descriptions are three black males 16 to 18 years old wearing black hoodies.
459 PC (Burglary/Residential)
07-7636 459 PC 6500 block of Barrett Ave. 4-25-07 0700 to 1630 hours. Unknown suspect kicks in the front door of the residence and ransacked the interior, taking property.
07-7855 459 PC 600 block of Richmond St. 4-28-07 1200 to 1305 hours. An unknown suspect entered the residence through an open window and stole electronic items and jewelry totaling $2300.
459 PC (Burglary/Commercial)
07-7887 459 PC 3509 Carlson Blvd. (Old West Gun Room) 4-28-07 2307 hours. Two suspects cut the lock off the rear building and set off an alarm as they entered the building. They fled when an alarm sounded.

07-7635 459 PC 7700 block of Earl Ct. Two suspects smash a window on a 1998 Honda Civic and remove purse from seat. The suspects are described as black males. One was wearing a baseball cap, white jacket, and white shoes. The second is described as wearing dark clothing.
07-7816 459 PC 300 block of Ramona Ave. 4-27-07 A suspect smashed the window of an Audi S4 and stole $900 worth of Property. A 26 year old Berkeley Male, Vanderick Vickers Jr. was arrested by Albany PD with property from this burglary.
07-7823 459 PC 200 block of San Carlos Ave. 4-27-07 2100 to 4-28-07 0830 hours. An unknown suspect smashed the window of a 2006 Toyota Highlander and ransacked the interior.
07-7866 459 PC 200 block of San Carlos Ave. 4-27-07 An unknown suspect smashed the window on a vehicle and removed property.
10851 CVC: (Motor Vehicle Theft)
07-7637 10851 VC Cutting Blvd at Key Blvd. 4-25-07 0610 to 1645 hours. An unknown suspect stole a 1997 Honda Accord.
07-7664 10851 VC El Cerrito Honda. 4-20-07 1000 to 4-25-07 0900 hours. An unknown suspect stole a Honda Odyssey van .
07-7819 10851 VC 5500 block of MacDonald Ave 4-27-07 2100 hours to 4-28-07 0800 hours. An unknown suspect stole a 1983 Volvo 240 Station Wagon.
07-7873 10851 VC 500 block of Oak St. 4-28-07 0001 to 1730 hours. An unknown suspect stole a 1982 Toyota Pick up.
07-7913 10851 VC 6800 block of Moeser Ln. 4-28-07 1900 to 4-29-07 1130 hours. An unknown suspect stole a 1999 Honda Civic.
